Once again Fira de Cornellá (Cornellá, Barcelona) will be the venue chosen to become the focus of attention for anybody interested in Hemp and related products and issues, as the 9th edition of the Spannabis fair will take place the last weekend of February.
The interest for scientific, medical and commercial novelties is so big that the organisers will add an additional 200 sq.m tent – outside the main exhibition hall- that will host conferences and also the Hemp-associations. More than 200 companies will participate in the 140 booths that will be built in the 8.200 sq m venue.
Raúl del Pino, Spannabis’ communication director, says that “There has been an important increase in the number of foreign exhibitors, above all Canadians, and we are now sold out and there is a waiting list”.
During the 3 days that the fair lasts a vast range of industrial hemp-products will be shown, as well as cultivation equipment, paraphernalia and seeds. Spannabis is considered to be the world’s showcase of the novelties for the hemp industry in the year 2012.
The visitors will also be able to make contact with the associations and learn from professionals and experts related to the hemp community who will offer a great variety of conferences and debates regarding different issues: application, medical use, legal aspects, etc.
Spannabis 2012 will take place from Friday 24th through 26th of February.
