Two men have been charged with drugs offences following the uncovering of an alleged cannabis cultivation and distribution business.
The men aged 24 and 26 were arrested in the Coleraine and Bushmills areas during a two day operation mounted by officers from the PSNI’s Crime Team North.
The 26-year-old was charged with possession of Class B drugs, possession with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs and supply of Class B drugs.
He is due to appear before North Antrim Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The 24-year-old was charged with possession of Class B drugs, cultivating cannabis, possessing Class B drugs with intent to supply and being concerned with the supply of Class B drugs.
He is due to appear before the same court on October 19.
Four other people were arrested in connection with the drugs operation.
Two men, aged 24 and 27, and a woman, aged 23, have been released on police bail pending further inquiries or reports.
A 46-year-old woman was released without charge.
